"Kaljiga" Trailer Released - Movie to be released on September 13

Mangalore: Many people have already arrived in the Kannada film industry from the coastal region. He also recorded a win. Now another team has made their debut in Kannada cinema with the film ’Kaljiga’. The trailer of this film, which seems to hide a curious twist in the title itself, has been unveiled at Bharat Cinemas, Bharat Mall. The trailer of Kaljiga was released in the presence of the film crew and dignitaries from various fields.

 

Produced under the banner of Himani Films, Kaljiga is directed by Suman Suvarna. Produced by Sarath Kumar V.K.

 

MLAs Vedavyasa Kamat, Ashok Rai, Former Minister B Ramanatha Rai, Devdas Kapikad, Vijayakumar Kodiyal Bail, Gopinath Bhatt, Manasi Sudhir, Arjun Kapikad, Prasad Shetty, Sachin Shetty, Munir Katipalla, Jyotish Shetty, Roopa Varkadi, at the trailer launch event at Bharat Cinemas. Producer Sarath Kumar and Suman Suvarna were present.

 

On this occasion, divine dancers Mayila Kutharu, Raghava Kutharu and Janapada Paddan singer Kutharu Thimmakka were honored  by the film team.

 

Specially, after a long time, NadaBrahma Hamsalekha has returned to music direction through this movie. He also dabbled in songwriting.

Suman Suvarna, who has worked in the direction of films like Gir Git, Circus, Gamjal, has become an independent director through ``Kaljiga’’. Actor Arjun Kapikad, who is known as the king of action in Tulu cinema, plays the lead role in this film. Sushmita Bhatt, a true beautician, is paired as the heroine. S. Sarath Kumar AK, who is the owner of marketing firm K Group, has produced this film. Actors Gopinath Bhatt, Jyotish Shetty, Manasi Sudhir, Vijay Shobharaj Pavur and Shlagha Saligrama are seen in the lead roles in the film.

 

As of now, the film team has kept the interior of Kaljiga a secret. Shooting has been done in the surrounding areas of Udupi and Mangalore. Kaljiga will open across the state on September 13. The film is made in the Kannada language style of Mangalore region. Kaljiga is an exciting story that takes place after the shadow of adharma falls on the path of religion.

 

The film has music-lyrics by Hamsalekha, cinematography by Sachin Shetty, background music by Prasad K Shetty and editing by Yashwin K Shettigar. Sanil Guru of Kantara fame acted as the creative head. Radhakrishna Manila as executive producer and Sandeep Shetty as production manager have joined hands for ’Kaljiga’.
