Santacruz Kannada Sangha celebrates Independence Day

Mumbai (RBI), August 16: Kannada Sangha Santacruz celebrated the nation’s 78th Independence Day at the Sangh’s office last Thursday morning under the chairmanship of Sangh President Sujatha R. Shetty.
Sangh members, neighborhood citizens and children were present and Sangh president Sujatha Shetty picked the national flag. The members saluted the national flag and showed patriotism with the national anthem.
Sujata Shetty conveyed her greetings to the citizens who attended the presidential address saluted the great men who fought for freedom 78 years ago. Also, let Mother Bharat give strength to the soldiers who are always protecting the country in the border area. He said that the people of our country should be independent by getting India first class in the world.
Honorary president of the association LV Amin said that we got freedom in 1947. Today we are celebrating 78th Independence Day. They all know the words of Subhash Chandra Bose during the freedom movement, give me blood and I will give you freedom. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi assumed power we are seeing all round development of our country. Our country is the 5th largest economic superpower in the world. We are already world masters.
