Catholic Sabha Mangalore North Zone Felicitates Ivan DSouza

Kinnigoli: Under the leadership of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Region Mangalore North Zone, in collaboration with all the Catholic Sabha units of North Zone, a felicitation program was organized for Hon’ble Mr. Ivan D’Souza, who was elected as a member of the Legislative Council for the second time, at Kinnigoli Church Sabha Bhavan on 28.07.2024 at 04.00 pm.

 

Mr. Ivan D’Souza was given a warm welcome and brought to the Sabha Bhavan with a procession.

 

Melreeda Jane Rodrigues, President of Catholic Sabha Mangalore North Zone presided over the felicitation program. He welcomed everyone with introductory remarks.

 

Rev Fr Oswald Montero, Spiritual Director of Catholic Sabha Mangalore North Zone and Rev Fr. Father Joachim Fernandes, Parish Priest of Kinnigoli Church wished Ivan D’Souza.

 

Ivan D’Soujza, who was honored in the program, said that about 15 crore rupees have been kept for Kannada medium school and government hospital development. He said that the regulations will come soon.

Kinnigoli Church Pastoral Committee Vice President Mr. William D’Souza, Catholic Sabha Mangalore North Zone Secretary Mrs. Shanti Mabel Martis, Treasurer Mr. James Lobo, Immediate Past President Mr. Francis Serrao, Kinnigoli Unit President and Zone Political Coordinator Mrs. Gretta Fernandes, Kinnigoli Unit Secretary Mr. William Sequeira, Mr. Prakash D’Souza, Kinnigoli Unit Political Coordinator were present.

 

On behalf of the Catholic Church, Mr. Stany Miranda congratulated Mr.Ivan D’Souza. Mrs. Gretta D’Souza proposed vote of thanks. Dr. Freida Rodriguez anchored the program. Many presented their demands in the form of a petition to Mr. Ivan D’Souza.
