Sur Sobhan: 60 Hours Konkani Vocal Training

Mangalore, 24 July: Mand Sobhan is organizing a 60-hour Konkani vocal training called Sur Sobhan (Beauty of Voice) for children from classes 5 to 10 who are interested in singing under the leadership of its singing board Sumel. Apart from the first Sunday of the month, the classes will be held on all other Sundays from 3.00 pm to 5.30 pm at Kalangana, Shaktinagar.

 

Shilpa Tejaswini Kutinha, who graduated in Hindustani singing and has made her mark in the field of Konkani singing, is the principal coach. Vocabulary, voice control, singing techniques and using these to sing Konkani songs will be taught electronically. Textbooks and stationery will be provided. Those who pass the final examination will receive a certificate from Dr. Gangubai Hanagal University of Music and Performing Arts, Mysore.

The classes will start from August 18 and registration can be done through WhatsApp number 8105226626, the release said.
