Udupi: Protest still continued in support of Anna Hazare

Padubidri, 19 August 2011: Protest in support of Anna Hazare who is on the fasting movement, is still continued on Thursday in Inna Grama of Padubidri. Prashanth Shetty led the protest. On Thursday the participation of Venkamma, an elderly woman of the Grama, was special.
 

 
Along with her, Jaya Shetty, Inna Shrinivasa Bhat, Inna Vishwanatha Bhat, Shekara Shetty, Vittala Shetty, Harisha Shetty, Ramanna Shetty, Sadananda, Manoj, Anni, Sudhakara, Ramesh and others participated. At the place of protest police arrangement was made.

 
 
Protest supporting Anna Hazare continued in Udupi

 
Udupi, 19 August 2011: Supporting the fasting movement of Anna Hazare, Bharat Jagrati Sabha conducted procession on every streets of Udupi city on Wednesday night and requested the traders to display black flag infront of their shops to express their supports. But only some shop owners responded to this and few had displayed the back flags. Other traders did not express their support to Anna.
 

 

 

 

 
 
But cloth merchant Shridhara Pai expressed his support in a special way. Usually the cloth shops do not display black colour dresses. But Shridhara Pai, in his all 3 shops displayed only black colour cloths and did not display any other colour. In this way he expressed his complete support to Anna Hazare.
