Mangalore: Konkani Musical Workshop Inaugurated

Mangalore, 21 May 2011: Three day Konkani  musical workshop on Lyrics, Devotional songs and Infant songs were inaugurated by Eric Ozario - Gurkar of Mand Sobhan and Former President of Konkani Sahithya Academy at Nalanda School, V.T. Road Mangalore. The workshop is jointly conducted by Karnataka Konkani Sahithya Academy and Swarashri Sahithya Kala Vedhike Mangalore.

 

Kundapura Narayana Karvi – President of Konkani Sahithya Academy presided over the program. Dr. K. Mohan Pai – Secretary of State Konkani Language Minority Education Society Mangalore and B. Pundalika Marathe Shirva - Karnataka Konkani Sahithya Academy Member were the Chief Guests in the program.

 

 

 

 

 

Director of the camp Vasanthi R. Nayak, Asst. Director of camp and Academy Member Puttur Panduranga Nayak were also present on the Dias. Mamatha Kini compeered the program. Baby Shwetha welcomed the guests with flower bouquets. Vasanthi R. Nayak proposed vote of thanks.
