Beltangady: Rahul Gandhi visits Dharmasthala; pays obeisance to Lord Manjunatheswar

Beltangady, 28 Apr 2018: AICC president Rahul Gandhi was accorded grand welcome when he arrived at Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, here, on Friday, April 27 afternoon.

 

D Harshendra Kumar, brother of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari D Veerendra Heggade welcomed Rahul when he alighted from helipad at Dharmasthala.

 

 

Veerendra Heggade garlanded flowers on Rahul Gandhi when the latter arrived at his residence after visiting Sri Sannidi Guesthouse. Both chatted for nearly 10 minutes.

 

He also paid obeisance to Lord Manjunateshwar. It’s the second personal visit of Rahul to Dharmasthala.

 

He left Dharmasthala for his onward journey to visit Madikeri after having lunch at Dharmasthala.

 

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, Mallikarjuna Karge, MLAs Vasant Bangera and Abayachandra Jain and others were present.
