Bellevision families in Qatar gather for gala time at New Salata

Doha/Qatar, 04 Dec 2017: The members of Bellevision along with their families and friends gathered at the venue, a clubhouse at New Salata, Doha on Friday, December 1. It was an indoor gathering, where every single person who attended the gathering enjoyed to the fullest! The event included sporting activities, games, jokes, entertainment and prizes.
All the attendees gathered at the venue by 11:30am. The formal commencement of the gathering began with the introductory note by vice president Amith Mathias, who later compered the entire event with some rib-tickling jokes. Belle Vision president Avinash D’Souza welcomed the gathering and thanked everyone for their presence. He said that the main objective of event like this is to bring together all those from their native place living here in Qatar and he called upon everyone to have fun and enjoy a great picnic.
Carol D’Souza and Avinash D’Souza conducted various games and entertaining competitions. They briefed the rules of the games and to make the event much more exciting. Two teams were formed naming them, ‘Bahubali’ and ‘Padmavati.’ The team competitions were - Find Your Shoe, Number Cards, Bursting Balloons, Sorting the M n Ms, Sticky Cotton Race, Eat the Cookie, Read the Colors, Listing the Bus Stops, Pile the Cups Relay etc. Housie – Housie was conducted towards the evening before the closure of the gathering. The games were innovative, well organized and full of fun and kept everyone active. It was great entertainment as the supporters of both teams cheered standing on their toes.
Lunch was served in between the games, as everyone relaxed, sitting and catching up with old friends, cracking some jokes and talking on general topics. Everyone was having a good time and no one knew how the day passed by in that fantastic atmosphere. The entire event was enjoyed by everyone and it was a great experience to all.
All games scores were added up and team Padmavati won over team Bahubali. Both the teams were awarded with prizes by advisory Committee members Mable Martis and William Aranha.
Bellevision media coordinator Jerald D’Souza, proposed the vote of thanks. He thanked everyone for actively participating in the picnic and also all those who worked hard towards making this event a successful one. He also thanked IFS for providing the delicious lunch.
