Mangaluru: Bishop Dr Gerald Lobo releases DVD - Amara Chethana Santha Juze Vaz

Mangaluru, 02 Dec 2016: The DVD of Kannada movie on the life of St Joseph Vaz, ‘Amara Chethana Santha Juze Vaz,’ was released by Bishop Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo of Udupi diocese at St Joseph Vaz Shrine, Mudipu, during the first day celebration of the Annual Feast of the Shrine.

 

 

Fr Benjamin Pinto, parish priest and the director of the Shrine briefed about the DVD. Mudipu parish council vice president Roshan D’Souza, secretary Leo D’Souza and movie director Vinod Gangolli were present on the occasion.

 

The Kannada film ‘Amara Chethana Santha Juze Vaz’ portraits the holy and miraculous life of the great Indian missionary St Joseph Vaz who is popularly known as the Apostle of Sri Lanka. The film is produced by St Joseph Vaz Centre, Mangaluru and directed by Vinod Gangolli.
