Send off function to Mrs. Christabel Snehalatha - Teacher of St. Lawrence High School

Moodubelle, 30 January 2010: Mrs. Snehalatha teacher of highschool section who worked in our school for two years 7 months. Due to the decrease in the students’ strength she was the access staff. Hence the department transferred her to Udupi St. Mary’s High School. She was relieved from duty on 30th January and she will join duty on 1st  February at Udupi.

A Sendoff function was arranged in the college auditorium to express gratitude for the services rendered by her. The program began with the prayer song, sung by the students. Then the principal welcomed the gathering and thanked for all the sincere services rendered in this institution both teaching and in extra curricular activities. Specially the principal thanked for her services in the Golden Jubilee Celebration. Her sincere and meticulous work was very well appreciated. As she was the Maths and Science Teacher She put lot of efforts specially in Maths to make the students understand this subject . She used to take special classes and take extra care of the students. As she has her name “Snehalatha” Which signifies love, good relationship and respect. She imbibed these qualities in her work and in her life. The principal thanked Mrs. Snehalatha for instituting the Prize Fund in Maths for the SSLC students to give prizes for First and Second Place.

On behalf of the students Ms. Poorna Nayak of 10th Standard expressed feelings and highlighted the qualities of the teacher. The students sang a sendoff song. On behalf of the staff her Friend Mrs. Leena DSa thanked her services and cooperation to all the teachers as she was an exemplary one. The colleagues offered their love and respect by way of flowers. The class leaders also offered flowers to show their gratitude. In response to all these Mrs. Snehalatha thanked the management, the principal, her colleagues and the students. It is the support which she got here which has made her happy and contended. She requested everyone to pray for her. She called on the students specially the SSLC Batch to work hard and to get hundred percent result. She appreciated our institution which is unique and which has a name. The Vote of thanks given by Ms. Pooja Nayak. The program was arranged by Keerthi Squad the advisor was Mrs. Precilla Rodrigues. The program was compered by Ms. Jane. At the end the students sang the National Anthem. All the student met their loved teacher offered flowers and sought blessings from her.

After this program the staff gathered for the dinner. In the get together  Mr. Srinivas Ballal on behalf of the staff expressed sincere gratitude and wished her well. Mrs. Hilda Aranha offered the bouquet of flowers and the principal handed over the Memento on behalf of the staff. Mrs. Snehalatha thanked for the cooperation of the staff and requested to pray for her. Then all had the sumptuous meal. Mrs. Snehalatha gave Payasam to all the staff and students.
