Udupi/M’belle: Jnanaganga PU College celebrates NSS Day

Udupi, 11 Oct 2015: NSS unit of Jnanaganga PU College, Nellikatte, near Moodubelle, here celebrated NSS Day here on Saturday October 10.

The social activist and Rotary Club – Manipura founder president Joseph Kundar was felicitated during the programme.

The College principal U L Bhat after felicitating Joseph appealed to the students not to get victims of ill habits.

 

 
Speaking on the occasion, Joseph called on NSS volunteers not to do anything with the intention of honor, to help the poor to have toilets, to help the needy and to contribute for betterment of society thereby become responsible citizen.

The College correspondent Suresh Shetty Prabhakar K S, chairman Suresh Shetty were present at the dais.

The College NSS unit officer Ambika welcomed the gathering. NSS leader Harshita proposed vote of thanks. Sumanasa compered the programme.
