Udupi: Moodubelle parish ICYM unit organizes Youth Convention

Udupi, 22 June 2015: ICYM unit of St Lawrence parish, Moodubelle, near here organized Youth Convention at their parish hall on Sunday June 21.
Moodubelle parish priest Fr Clement Mascarenhas after inaugurating the Youth Convention urged the youth community to excel by their inherent talent. He cited an example of a sculptor how he carves a masterpiece out of a boulder, likewise they got to excel in their life by their social concern.

The key resource person Fr Sunil D’Souza spoke on love and friendship to ICYM and YCS members. Over 100 youth have partaken in the Youth Convention.
Fr Victor Fernandes, Moodubelle parish council vice president A K Alva, secretary Lata D’Mello, ICYM animators Vincent Fernandes and Rovita Fernandes, YCS animator John Castelino, Youth Commission president Joseph Martis, ICYM president Neville D’Souza were present.
Preema Alva welcomed the gathering. Lloyd Rebello compered the programme. Gladson Alva proposed vote of thanks.

| Thanks ICYM Belle for organizing Good event.I have question for the organiser s and the priests Why cant suggest our children s educate them to take courses like Doctors, ICS IPS officers, Priesthood, everybody going for Engineering Our beloved most respectable Father Mullers charitable organisation waiting for our catholic childrens educate them as Doctr s but poor response from our children and the parish, what a shame.Not only that i have seen specially catholics in our parish hate each other like dead enemy s, some other issue like husband wife miss understanding, and wife, parents and childrens misunderstanding, neighbour s clash so on, no body is bother to correct them only talking about collection for the church, introducing some new project etc.In the church only talking about the gospel that s it, no body is not making effort to correct them, so far i haven t found answer for my question ? | |

| Dear ICYM President and committe members, congatulations for successfully organising such an event. Requesting You to bring new faces to the stage guests for future events ( I am seeing same guests for every programme) and try to encourage the new members to come forward and do the stage programme, which will give them an opportunity to avoid stage fear. It is my personal opinion and suggestion , since I am bored of seing same faces again and again. Wishing ICYM Moodubelle all the very best. Long live ICYM Moodubelle . | |
