Mangaluru: ’Thokanatollo Zuzari’ Konkani biography of Eric Ozario released

Mangaluru, 15 Jun 2015: The biography of Mandd Sobhann Gurkar Eric Ozario, titled ‘Thokanatollo Zuzari’, published by Mandd Sobhann, was released by well-known Konkani researcher and activist, Dr Pratap Naik, Goa, at Kalaangann, here on Sunday June 14.

 

The biography, written by Rony Arun, is based on the English book ‘Eric Ozario – The Indefatigable Crusader’ written by Royston Fernandes. This is the 18th book published by Mandd Sobhann.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Pratap Naik said that he has read the book ‘Eric Ozario - The Indefatigable Crusader’ and through it, got to know Eric Ozario in more detail. He said that for him, Eric is a person who fights for justice and who has always been a friend of the poor and the workers.

 

 

The sponsors and all those who worked behind the book were handed-over copies of the Biography.

 

A sketch of Eric Ozario by artist Wilson Kayyar was presented to Eric Ozario, on the occasion.

 

This was followed by an interaction with Eric Ozario, wherein he answered various questions about him, raised by people in the gathering. The session was moderated by Titus Noronha.

 

Mandd Sobhann president Louis Pinto, Eric’s wife Joyce Ozario and Rony Arun’s wife Clara Arun were also present on the dais.
