Prem Kumar Presents ‘Premal Saanz’ on the occasion of the Tri-centenary of the Milagres Church

Mangalore, 20 December 2010: As a part of the tri-centenary celebrations of the foundation of the Milagres Church in Mangalore, a  Konkani Music concert named ‘Premal Saanz’  was presented by the renowned singer Prem Kumar on Sunday 19the December 2010. Prem Kumar took this opportunity to pay tribute to his mentor Wilfy Rebimbus. Along with co-singers Claude D’Souza and Ivan Sequeira, Prem Kumar sang the first song ‘Shraddhanjali’.

 

 

At  the outset, the Vice President of the Milagres parish Pastoral Council- Alwyn Rosario welcomed the gathering. During the programme, the first CD of Prem Kumar titled ‘Premal Ulo’ was released by Vicar General of the Mangalore Diocese,  Monsignor Denis Moras Prabhu , the parish priest of the Milagres Church, Fr Walter D’Mello and a well-known musician from Mumabi-Nakash were present on the dais.

 

Besides music and songs, the comedy troupe ‘Me Mo Ry’  entertained the audience with their rib tickling jokes and comedy. Leslie Rego compeered the programme.
