Mangaluru, 16 Dec 2014: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the populist party that has lost its credibility and confidence of common man due to authoritarian behaviour of some its top leaders will rebuild party through Mission Vistaar.
Addressing the media persons at AAP office here on Tuesday December 16, AAP Karnataka state spokesperson Ravikrishna Reddy said that new district Committee will be formed in 2 weeks.
‘Under Mission Vistar, independent observers are forming the Committees. Even in Karnataka, independent observers will be announcing district and state Committees. This will increase the party’s activities. The mission aims at re-constituting the party Committee and involving more people in the decision-making process,’ said Reddy.
Commenting on working of Karnataka state government, Reddy said that the ruling Congress party is following BJP when it comes to bad governance.
‘An opportunity is given to the ruling party in state to implement people-friendly projects, but the Congress in state has failed in discharging its duties. The ministers and party representatives in the region have failed in curbing the spate of communal clashes and moral policing. If this continues, there will be no difference between the Congress and the BJP rule here,’ said Reddy.
AAP district leaders Marcy Pinto, Rohan Shiri, Alexander D’Souza and others were present at the media conference.
