Kuwait: PWCK organizes annual family get-together at Green Island, Shaab

Kuwait, 03 Nov 2014: Piusnagar Welfare Committee Kuwait (PWCK) organized an annual family get-together at Green Island, Shaab, here on Friday October 31 for all Piusnagar parish families.

 

The day started with the prayer by Wilma Menezes on Sunday morning.  PWCK president Richard Menezes expressed his warm welcome to all the gathered families and requested each one to enjoy the day with the true family spirit. After that breakfast was served to everyone.

 

A number of games for children and adults were organized throughout the day and prizes were distributed to all the winners.

 

Fr Paul Rego (visiting priest from Pamboor parish) led the grace before meal. Delicious lunch was served by PPS Caterers.

 

 

Soon after the lunch much-awaited games breaking the pot, tug-of-war and  housie games started to all the families and prizes were distributed to all the winners. The daylong fun-filled event comprised games, entertainment and prize galore, thoroughly enjoyed by adults and children.

 

The whole day’s event was compered by Melvyn Rodrigues and Sunil Menezes. Roshan Quadras proposed the vote of thanks.
