Udupi: Swachh Bharat campaign at Moodubelle

Udupi, 01 Nov 2014: At the joint aegis of Lions Club International (LCI) – Moodubelle, Kappandakaria Yuvaka Mandala – Moodubelle, Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) – Moodubelle, St Lawrence College – Moodubelle, St Lawrence parish ICYM unit – Moodubelle, embarked on Swachh Bharat campaign at Moodubelle, near here on Saturday November 1.

 

 

Belle gram panchayat president Rajendra Shetty offered motion for Swachh Bharat campaign here on Saturday morning.

 

TP member Devdas Hebbar, ZP former president Gerald Fernandes, PDO Benny Quadros were present on the occasion.

 

Swachh Bharat should not be restricted to one day, Belle gram panchayat had to make efforts to lay garbage bins in convenient spots in Moodubelle in order to make cleanliness and hygiene meaningful, say the responsible citizens and shopkeepers.
