Mangalore: Work on proposed new bus stand at Pumpwell will begin soon - MLC Ivan

Mangalore, 7 Sep 2014: MLC Ivan D’Souza said that the all major issues related to land acquisition for the proposed new city bus stand are resolved and the construction work will begin at the earliest.

 
Addressing media persons during the inauguration of his new office in municipal building, Lalbaug here on Saturday September 6 afternoon, MLC Ivan said, ‘There were some issues regarding the handing over the land due to the ongoing flyover works, but now all the issues have been solved. Along with this the funds have been sanctioned and the work is expected to begin at the earliest,’ said MLC Ivan.

 
When asked about the motive to start his own website, MLC Ivan said, ‘I want people to know what I am doing. Along with this, I want to know what people expect from me.’

 

 

Speaking about the sports complex, MLC Ivan said that the new sports complex will be set up in 2.8 acre plot near Urwa Marigudi. This will be a fully furnished sports complex and it is hard to say when the works will begin, said MLC Ivan.
