Udupi: MP Shobha Karandlaje pays maiden visit to Belle gram panchayat

 Udupi, 23 Aug 2014: Udupi – Chikmagalur MP Shobha Karandlaje paid a visit to Belle gram panchayat that comes under Kaup legislative assembly constituency, near here on Friday August 22, and held discussion with local elders and peoples representative over developmental works.

 
MP Shobha offered assurances of granting funds for building construction of Belle gram panchayat and to resolve other issues.

 
MP Shobha symbolically launched union government sponsored Pradhan Manatri Janadhana Kalyan Yojana by Canara Bank, Moodubelle branch on the same occasion.  The branch manager Satischandra Shetty was present.

 
The Belle gram panchayat president Rajendra Shetty presented a memorandum to MP Shobha to include Belle village in MP’s Adarsh Gram Yojana.

 

 

Rajendra presided the programme and felicitated MP Shobha on her maiden visit to Belle after becoming MP.

 
ZP members Ida Gilbert D’Souza and Geetanjali Suvarna, former MLA Lalaji R Mendon, Kaup block BJP president Suresh Nayak, former ZP member Gerald Fernandes, Belle gram panchayat members, Belle BJP president Gururaj Bhat, Belle gram panchayat vice president Leena Noronha and others were present on the occasion.

 
TP member Devdas Hebbar welcomed the gathering.
