Mangalore: District Wenlock Hospital Devt Committee explores to improve infrastructure

Mangalore, 8 Aug 2014: The development Committee of district Wenlock Hospital convened a meeting at the chairmanship of Mangalore south MLA J R Lobo at district surgeon’s hall, here on Friday August 8 at 9.30am.
The issues of forming an expert Committee either to reconstruct or repair the existing old blocks of surgery, out patient and trauma, to forward a proposal to state government in order to build new blocks as the master plan of hospital under new project is available, to explore the plans to set up hi-tech trauma centre and super speciality clinic, to forward revised proposal to civic authority under 3 percent aid, in order to construct one more floor on the existing trauma centre and a slope to access main entrance, to convert as a regional hospital, to repair the deplored road that leads to city’s central railway station, to urge civic body to clear the choked drains and to clear the wild vegetation that has grown lush in and around the hospital and to lay street lights, to appoint data entry operators, to undertake survey for building residential quarters, to clear the petty shops and parking of private ambulances nearby hospital, to facilitate draining of rain water stalling in front of pharmacy, etc and etc.
