Superstitious father kills son, daughter

Kolar, 15 March 2010: In a clear case of superstition, a man has killed his two children on the words of a soothsayer, at Shanubhoganahalli village in Kolar taluk.

The decomposed bodies of Narasi mhamurthy (6) and Nandini (4) were discovered in a eucalyptus garden on Sunday morning. The father of the children Laxman (29) is absconding.

Police suspect that Laxman could have committed the crime trusting the soothsayer’s words that his life was in danger from his children. He must have killed the children on Wednesday, according to the police.The bodies were identified with the help of the clothes.Laxman’s wife Gayatrimma has complained to the police saying he had also killed their another child some time ago.
