Surathkal: Couples Day Celebrated by Catholic Sabha

Surathkal, 03 November 2010: “Living together with love and adjustment is the key to the successful married life” said Rev. Fr. Santhosh Rodrigues, Director of Family Welfare Centre of Mangalore Catholic Diocese, on the occasion of Couples day celebration organized by Catholic Sabha, Surathkal on Tuesday.

 

Parish Priest of Surathkal Church, Rev. Fr. Antony Lobo spoke and said, “Faith and forgiveness nature has to be adopted to avoid disputes in married life”. In the celebration 65 couples participated. Among them those couples who have celebrated golden anniversary were honoured.

 

 

President of Catholic Sabha Surathkal, Remond Rocha welcomed the guests and the gathering. Secretary Diana Fernandes proposed vote of thanks. The program was compeered by Gretta Pinto.

 

Honorary President of Catholic Sabha Surathkal, George D’Souza was also present. Others present were, Rocky Pinto, J.P. Pinto, Monthi D’Souza, Veeda Pereira, Sevrine D’Souza, Jossy D’Silva, Marshal Machado, Peter D’Souza, Raussel Rocha, other dignitaries and members of ICYM.
