National Symposium on ’Current India: Truth and Myth’ to be held in Kalladka on Feb. 25

Bantwal: Retired IPS Police Officer Annamalai K. will be visiting Kalladka Sri Rama Vidyakendra for the first time on Feb. 25, and will inaugurate a national symposium titled ’Present India: Truth-Myth’ under the auspices of Sri Rama First Class College, said Dr. Prabhakar Bhat Kalladka, founder of the Vidyakendra and President of Puttur Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha.

 

Giving information about this at a press conference held at Bantwal Press Club on Thursday, he said that retired police officer Annamalai, who is an attraction for the youth community, will arrive before the scheduled time and observe the activities of the children of the educational center. He will then inaugurate a national symposium and speak on the topic ’My Country, My Responsibility’. Later, in the second session, Bangalore-based history researcher Dr. Vikram Sampath will present the topic ’Lessons Learned-Unknown Perspectives’. In the third session, Bangalore-based lawyer Kshama Naragunda will present the topic ’What is Narrative?’. In the fourth session, social activist Srikanth Shetty Karkala will present the topic ’Israel - Unresolved Truths’. Dr. Bhatt said that there will be an opportunity for discussion and discussion after each topic is presented. He said that since the early days of the degree department which started in the 2009-10 academic year, Mangalore University has been organizing seminars. Although many UGC-sponsored seminars are held in all colleges of the university, unlike all of them, seminars are being held on current affairs and issues that meet today’s needs.

The current society is hiding the truth and presenting lies as truth, showing truth as lies and lies as truth, leading the society towards the kingdom of lies. He said that this symposium has been organized with the aim of removing the veil of falsehood that hides the truth, dispelling the illusion, and creating knowledge of the true facts of the current events in India. More than 60 colleges of Mangalore University and many representatives from various universities in the state have already registered. Arrangements for accommodation and food are being made for them, and more than 750 representatives are expected to participate, he said.

 

Narayan Somayaji, President of Sri Rama Vidyakendra, Krishnaprasad Kayarakatte, Principal of the college, Surekha, Yathiraj, Vice Principals were present.
