Inauguration of new women’s unit by Mangalore Taluk Committee of Bantar Yane Nadava Matru Sang

Mangalore: A new women’s unit was recently inaugurated under the auspices of Mangalore Taluk Committee of Bantar Yane Nadava Matru Sangh.

 

President of Bantar Yane Nadava Matru Sangh, Ajit Kumar Rai Maladi, inaugurated the new women’s unit and said that the women’s unit should be developed through small programs useful for women. He promised the full cooperation of the Matru Sangh for the new women’s unit.

 

Honorary advisor of the unit Dr. Asha Jyoti Rai said that success is possible through mutual cooperation. He wished the new women’s unit all the best.

Sabita R. Shetty, President of the Women’s Unit, said that the new women’s unit should get the cooperation of all women.

 

Veena T. Shetty gave a special lecture on Bantar dress. Kasthuri Shetty conducted the best traditional dress competition organized for the women in the audience.

 

Matru Sangh Treasurer CA Rama Mohan Rai, Taluk Committee Deputy Convenor Ratnakara Shetty Ekkaru, Women’s Unit Vice President Sulatha J. Shetty, Secretary Vrinda Hegde, Secretary Manasa Rai, Treasurer Bharti Shetty, Vijayalakshmi Rai and others were present.
