Celebration of St Francis Xavier feast by Ward I

Moodubelle, 20 Dec 2012: All the families of St Francis Xaviour ward I, celebrated their ward feast in the house of Mr. Joseph Lobo. On 12th  December 2012 at 12 noon all the ward people gathered near the shrine.  Fr. Lancy Saldahna of St Lawrence Church Moodubelle; Fr. Maxim Pinto Director of Assisi Nilaya, Bethany Sister were present  for the Celebration.

 

On 12.12.2012 at sharp 12 O’Clock Mrs. Clotilda Lobo along with other family members inaugurated the Family Shrine built in honor of Most Holy Trinity. The Shrine was blessed by Rev.Fr. Lancy Saldahna.  The Holy Mass for the elderly and sick members of the ward was celebrated  by Rev. Fr. Lancy Saldahna along with Rev Fr. Maxim Pinto.

 

 

The program was conducted by Mr. William Lobo. Mr. Albert Martis the ward leader(Gurkar) welcomed all. Mrs. Rupina Aranha read the report of all the ward meetings of the small Christian community. Rev. Fr.Lancy Saldahna by giving a rose honored those family members who attended all the ward meetings. Prizes were distributed by Mr. Joseph Lobo to the winners of lucky games. Rev Fr. Maxim Pinto conducted a small prayer before lunch. In his thanks giving speech Mr. Joel Peter Lobo thanked Mr. Albert Martis the contractor who built the Shrine; Mr A. M Fernandes of Pietro Statuary Company Kankanady Mangalore who prepared the beautiful Altar.
