Udupi: BJP Protests against Ramdev arrest

Udupi, 06 June 2011: If the 400 crores rupees belonging to India is brought from abroad, then there will not be any Congress leaders in our country, all the present leaders will be in jail on black money case. With this fear Congress has stopped the fasting movement of Baba Ramdev, said Udupi District BJP President Udaya Kumar Shetty. He was speaking in a protest held in front of Gandhi statue in Udupi against the police action on the fasting movement of Baba Ramdev.
It was the government’s duty to bring back the black money. There is no need of any pressure from the people for this. But still when the people demanded this under the leadership of Baba and Seer, the government is showing the audacity of arresting them. This proves that the Indian black money abroad belongs to Congress leaders, he said.
MLA K. Ragupathi Bhat spoke and said that the incident taken place on Saturday night has shown with proof that the Congress party is corrupt party, he criticized.
In this protest Jilla Panchayath President Katapadi Shankara Poojary, Member Geethanjali Suvarna, UPMC President Suresh Nayak, Vice President Baskar Shetty, Mysore Tobacco Company President B. N. Shakara Poojary, Municipality President Kiran Kumar, Vice President Bharathi Chandrashekar, Members; Shyamprasad Kudwa, Naveen Bhandary, Devendra Prabhu, Panduranga Malpe, Yashpal Suvarna, BJP leaders; Somashekara Bhat, Thingale Vikramarjuna Hegde, Saleem Ambagilu, Vilas Nayak and others had participated.
