Aparajita Ramesh: Excelling in Arts and Crafts

27 Oct 2013: Aparajita Ramesh, 12 years old, is studying in Grade 7 of The Indian High School, Dubai. She is simple, caring and spontaneous in all that she does. She is very friendly, helpful and very much involved in social service and co-ordinates health campaigns regularly at Labor Camps.
From her childhood, she has shown lot of interest in Art work, which has blossomed in years and now Art and Craft has become her main talent. This is something very close to her heart and she gets inspired with each art work she does. Be it a project, model making, best out of waste, she always has a place and her teachers always appreciate her work. She has completed one year of a three year graduation course on Art and Crafts from Dino Art, Malaysia.
Recently, Aparajita conducted an Art Workshop on the at Children’s City, Dubai, wherein her drawings were displayed and the little children were taught on the basics of drawing. She has participated and won awards and accolades in various drawing competitions. She is the winner of Sheikh Hamdan Award for Distinguished Student (2010) and Sharjah Award for Excellence in Education. (2010). She also pursues classical Dance and Yoga. Her hobbies include reading and stamp collections.
