Travelogue: An exciting and memorable tour of Dubai and surrounding Emirates

Veena World, a travel organising company, arranged tour for a group of nine families of 25 people from Karnataka and Maharashtra. It met at Mumbai Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport, as per the scheduled flight departure time and proceeded to Dubai. Other tourist guests met the group as per their convenience.

 

Sharjah Airport: after landing at Sharjah International Airport we proceeded to immigration and proceeded by couch  to a Rajasthani Restaurant.

 

We drove to enjoy city orientation tour of Sharjah which included, Faisal Mosque, Islamic University and Quran roundabout. Then we drove on Sharjah Cornice followed by visit to Blue Souk Shopping Mall. Later we drove to Dubai through Sheikh Zayed road which connects seven emirates of UAE i.e., Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm AI Qaiwain, Ras AI Khaimah and Fujairah by road. In the evening, we  embarked on the Dhow Dinner cruise- enjoying the amazing view of Dubai skyline while we indulge in some delicious Arabic cuisine.

 

 

On the second day we explored the amazing city of Dubai. City tour includes photo stop at Burj Al Arab - tallest hotel in the world, took a walk around the Jumeirah Beach, and drove through famous Sheikh Zayed Road. We also got the opportunity to take a ride in the Palm Monorail. Later we shopped in one of the biggest shopping malls in Dubai- Dubai Mall - having some famous brands like Mark and Spenser, Waitrose, Bloomingdale and many more. Then we visited Dubai Mall’s Aquarium-home to more than 33,000 living animals, including 400 sharks and rays and a close encounter via its acrylic walk-through tunnel. Then we also visited Underwater Zoo. Later we visited the tallest building in the world- Burj Khalifa at the Top, from there we  got amazing view of this city from s 124th floor.

 

On the third day of our tour we enjoyed one-way water Taxi to Gold Souk. Later free time for shopping at Gold souk- a traditional gold market. Later we enjoyed thrilling desert safari by four wheeled drive Land Cruiser through sand dunes followed by amazing Belly Dance show along with Dinner.

 

On the fourth day we visited Miracle Garden. Then we visited Mall of Emirates – a complete family place where one can play, shop and eat. Enjoyed skiing and snow activities in Ski Dubai- indoor ski resort. Then went for shopping at Deira City Centre-one of the six City Centres.

 

On fifth day we drove to Abu Dhabi. On arrival we visited Ferrai World- explored this largest indoor theme Park and felt the excitement of each attraction like, Speed of Magic, Viaggio in Italla, Floran, GT Challenge, Formula Rossa etc. Later we visited Sheikh Zayed Mosque- a gem of Abu Dhabi and one the largest mosques in the world.
