ICYM Modankap enjoys an Amazing picnic at Sita Falls
To go to Sita Falls either we should have our own vehicle, car is better if small crowd or bus preferably for the large crowd, family get-together or picnics. Prior to reaching Sita Falls there is a small creek to cross and if the water is less then you must consider yourself lucky to cross if not, we must walk round the creek in a mud road for about 4 km rough road but it is worth to walk in group enjoying the beautiful nature, chirping birds, blue skies, wonderful nature. We reached Hebri at about 11am. But luckily since the water was less, our bus could cross the creek easily and that not only saved our time..[By Wilma Lavina]

With Ash Wednesday Starts Lenten penitence
Christians throng churches to mark Ash Wednesday. Ash Wednesday can be anytime between February 4 and March 10. It is the first day of Lent, a period of fasting, abstinence and penance, which lasts forty days ending with Holy Saturday ā this year on March 30. Ash Wednesday is called so due to the custom of imposing ashes on the head of the faithful in the churches. While imposing ashes on the head, in earlier times the priest used to say: āRemember, man, that thou art dust and unto dust thou shall return.ā This is now replaced by: āTurn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel.ā[By John Monteiro]
