Udupi: Manipal University again bags Golden Peacock Environ Mgmt Award

Udupi, 12 Jul 2014: Manipal University for the third consecutive year bagged the prestigious Golden Peacock Environment Management Award 2014.

 

The award is presented to organizations for successfully managing environmental concerns. Manipal University has won several awards for its environmental management.

 

 

The award was presented during Golden Peacock Awards Nite at New Delhi on Friday July 11 night during the sixteenth World Congress on Environment Management.

 

The award was received by Manipal University Registrar Dr G K Prabhu and director General Services Colonel (Retired) Badrinarayan on behalf of Manipal University from Justice Dr Arijit Pasayat in the presence of Institute of Directors president Lieutenant General (Retired) J S Ahluwalia, Public Enterprises Selection Board chairman Atul Chaturvedi, Yes Bank CEO Rana Kapoor and others.

 

The Awards Jury comprised chairman former CJI Justice P N Bhagwati, and co-chairman Supreme Court former judge Justice Dr Arijit Pasayat.
