The first one is the PRS, the second one is the approving halt for Bangalore – Mangalore train services en route Neralakatte and Yedamangala railway station which will be inaugurated soon.’
‘We demand of more trains to this region. For this demand there should be an increase in number of passengers from this region. Hence more and more people should take the benefit of the railway services,’ urged MP Nalin.

DC Ibrahim hoped that this counter will be of great use to the people of Mangalore.
The Mangalore central railway station distributed 5.1 lac train tickets thus generating an income of Rs 2.5 crore.
The PRS that was inaugurated here on Thursday was the first one in Karnataka under Palghat division and eleventh under the division and has been started under the MP’s quota because a MP can sanction one PRS to his constituency.
The railway officials said that the counter will be open from 8.00am to 8.00pm.
