Mangalore, 2 Jul 2014: ‘Commitment to the Customer Satisfaction is the need of hour,’ said Shalini Shetty, assistant general manager of Vijaya Bank regional office at Udupi.
Shalini Shetty was speaking on the occasion of the valedictory function of the training program for assistant managers of Vijaya Bank at Nitte Campus of Nitte Institute of Banking and Finance here on Wednesday July 2.
Shalini Shetty recalled the contribution of the founding fathers of the Bank and its role in economic development of rural areas.
Shalini Shetty gave a clarion call to the officers to imbibe the great culture and tradition of Vijaya Bank and serve the customers with utmost devotion and dedication. She further advised the officers to give a patient hearing to the customers, understand their needs and extend timely service. She further added that being a good human being will go a long way in moulding our character and contribute to the all-round development of the society in large.
Dr Niranjan Chiplunkar, principal of NMAMIT presided the function.
Mr Chiplunkar opined that the officers have joined the banking industry at the right time and are poised for a fast and promising career growth.
