Dubai: NMC Healthcare opens new multi-speciality hospital in Investments Park

Dubai, 02 July 2014: NMC Healthcare,the UAE’s largest private healthcare provider, openedthe first multi-specialityhospital in Dubai Investments Park 1 (DIP 1) yesterday. The new facility will provide convenient round-the-clock medical servicesto the over 200,000 previously under-served residents of DIP andthe significant population of south Dubai and beyond.

 

Locatedopposite the Green Community, the hospital will provide comprehensive healthcare to all Dubai residents, with a focus onthose living within a convenient distance ofDIP, thanks to its direct access to Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.As a result, residents of Arabian Ranches, Discovery Gardens, Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT), Al Barsha and Jebel Ali Village, in addition to Al Quoz and Dubai Sports City will have access to first-rate medical services all under one roof. Previously, residents in DIP and surrounding areas needed to drive 25 minutes to get medical care at a hospital.

The hospital has 60 ward beds and 100 functional beds in all. Services available at the hospital include regular GP consultations, surgery, paediatrics, gynaecology and obstetrics, dentistry, dermatology, gastroenterology,urology, ENT andophthalmology. The new hospital also provides 24-hour pharmacy, ambulance and emergency services, as well as an array of laboratoryand radiologyfacilities.
