Udupi: RCI - Shankarapura observes Annapoorna Day among inmates of Destitute Home

Udupi, 01 Jul 2014: Rotary Club International (RCI) - Shankerapura observed Rotary Annapoorna Day by sharing mid-day meals to the inmates of Home of the Faith, Shankarapura, near here on Tuesday July 1. It was jointly sponsored by RCI – Shankarapura and Inner Wheel – Shankarapura.

 

There are more than 220 destitute and orphan men, women and children at Home of the Faith, Shankarapura.

 

 

RCI district vice governor M G Nagendra inaugurated the project of providing mid-day meals to the inmates of Home of the Faith, Shankarapura.

 

RCI – community welfare director Nandan Kumar, RCI – Shankarapura president Jerome Rodrigues were present on the dais.

 

Home of the Faith, Shankarapura chief functionary Pastor Sunil welcomed the gathering.
