Dubai: Prapti Jayanand, Student of Indian High School bags H H Sheikh Hamdan Award

Dubai, 17 Jun 2014: Prapti Jayanand, studying in Indian High School, here won most prestigious His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Award in the category for the ‘Most Distinguished Student for the year 2013-14.
Prapti was selected for being an all-rounder by securing above 95 percent marks in all subjects for past 3 years and excelling in extra-curricular activities.
Hamdan Award is presented to students who are extraordinary in all fields including academics, sports, leadership, public speaking, written work, arts, culture, religious work, environmental work, charity, etc. Prapti has excelled in all these fields and has won this award with hard work and sincerity. She is an active member of the environmental organization Green Hope which works for charity and also for the environment. She is also a member of the EEG (Emirates Environmental Group).
Prapti is a very active girl who is very talented in dance and singing. She is an active dancer in the Smile Creations Dance Troupe which has won most of the competitions all around the UAE. She has also been an active member of the Rajarajeshwari Bhajana Mandali. She has been the member of the student council in her school for past 2 years.
Her parents Jayanand Pakkala and Jayalaxmi Pakkala are very proud of their daughter. She is very thankful to her brother Prateek and others who have helped her a lot towards her path of this achievement.
