Kannada Sangha Pune felicitate Shri Sarvottam Shetty

Pune, 31 May 2014: Kannada Sangha Pune recently felicitated Shri Sarvottam Shetty a prominent and active NRI from Abu Dhabi.Mr Shetty was welcomed by Shri Kushal Hegde,President Kannada Sangha Pune along with Shri Ramadas Acharya,PRO-Kannada Sangha,Pune.

He was received and taken around the the Kaveri Group Of Educational Institutes run by Kannada Sangha and also visited the state of the art ‘Shakuntala auditorium’  in Ganeshnagar complex. Shri Ramadas Acharya introduced Shri Shetty to management members Shri Kushal Hegde,President, Smt. Indira Salian Vice President,Smt. Malati Kalmadi, Secretary and other trustees and briefed about the  Kannada Sangha’s activities in the fields of culture ,education and social work. Shri Kushal Hegde felicitated Shri Sarvottam Shetty with a Golden Jubilee momento and appreciated his active involvement in various Kannada,tulu associations in UAE and his skill in conducting events and bringing people together.

 

In his reply Shri Shetty told that it is indeed a great job done by y Kannada Sangha Pune for the past six decades and the Shakuntala auditorium is one of the landmark in the cultural city of Pune. He also appreciated the efforts of successfully running  the educational institutes of repute.Thanked sincerely for honring him with affection.
