Udupi: Civitech-Civil Engineering and Project Management  Office inaugurated

 

Udupi, 28 May 2014: A civil Engineering and project management office was  inaugurated at Udupi on 25 May 2014 at 10 am. Fr. Reginald Pinto-Director of Sampada (Diocesan Social Development Organization) and the the resident priest of Moodubelle officially inaugurated  the office by cutting the ribbon and lighting the lamp along with  the chief guest-Jerry Vincent Dias-President of Builders Association Udupi and Proprietor of  Mandovi Builders  and proprietor of the firm-Elias DSouza, Prakash Rao, Ravindra Dombe  and their family members. Fr. Reginald Pinto invoked blessings on the office through a brief prayer service.

 

Thereafter a brief stage progamme was conducted. Fr. Mahesh D’Souza , principal of  Milagres High School, Kalianpur presided over the function.

 

The chief guest of the function,  Jerry Vincent Dias speaking at this occasion pointed out the difficulties involved in the construction business due to various government and administrative rules. He complimented Elias D’Souza and his colleages for starting the venture as he said that all three of them have enormous experience in the field due to their prior service in Gulf as well as in India. Jerry Dias also said that he has been encouraging young people especially Catholics to enter the business in real estate and construction. Earlier proprietor Elias D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Elias is postgraduate in Civil Engineering and having more than 25 years construction, engineering and management in India and abroad.

 

Prakash Rao gave brief introduction of the firm and listed the various services that would be provided by the firm. He also has more than 25 years of experience in civil Engineering and has undertaken various prestigious projects in Mangalore and Udupi. He is also specialized in Vastu.

 

Ravindra Dombe proposed the vote of thanks. He is having nearly 30 years experience in construction field. He worked in various projects in India and abroad. He also has ample experience in real estate business.

 

Ravindra Adve compeered  the programme. Refreshments were served to all the guests at the end of the function.
