Udupi: Sportsmanship & Competitiveness can lead to success; Padmashree Kirmani

Udupi, May 21, 2014 : Nothing can be achieved without concerted efforts.  One should put in hard work, trust in himself and take heed of experts’ advices to achieve something worthwhile in life.  One had to come up by his / her own efforts in any sphere including cricket and not leverage on others.  Ones achievement should be noticed by the selectors, said India’s former cricketer Padmashree Sayyed Kirmani.


Kirmani was speaking at the sixth annual day celebrations of K R S Cricket Academy at S V S College auditorium, Katpady, near here on Tuesday May 20.

 

 
Kirmani advised the young cricketers not to be glued to mobile phones, instead make use of their time for mastering cricketing skills along with studies.  One can be successful in life, if one develops sportsmanship and competitiveness, advised Kirmani.
