Udupi: Uroos at Katpady Historically-famous Darga Concludes

Udupi, May 13, 2014 : Prophet Mohammed Paigambar founded Islam with philosophy of peace, brotherhood and equality that is ever binding to mankind, said the state urban minister Vinay Kumar Sorake.

 
The minister Sorake was speaking after inaugurated the retired headmaster Hussein during the stage programme held on the occasion of Uroos at the historical Ashaikh Fakir Shah Valiyullah Darga, Katpady, near here on Saturday May 10.

 

 

 
The coastal district since contemporary time have fostered unity and brotherhood among Hindu and Muslim brethrens like Goddess Durge was pleased with the humanitarian deeds of Bappa Beary in Bappanadu temple, Mulky. Dargas help in fostering communal harmony, said minister Sorake.
