Padubidri: Lanco gives accessories to physically challenged

Shirva, 19 November 2011: Lanco Company distributed wheel chair and other accessories for the physically challenged in a camp organized in coordination with St. Francis Church Mudarangadi and Grama Panchayath Mudarangadi, recently. Wilfred Gomes – President of the Physically Challenged inaugurated the camp. Church Parish Priest Rev. Fr. D’Sa presided over the inaugural program, who in his presidential address appreciated this noble work done by Lanco Foundation and UPCL.
Lanco Foundation Coordinator Arun Kamath spoke on the occasion and briefed on the various projects being carried out by Lanco such as drinking water, health, education and other projects. Other dignitaries present on the occasion were; UPCL Senior Administrative Officer Mukundan, Senior Project Manager Sudarshan Prasad, Madhusoodhana Rao, Aravind Kanth of Lanco Foundation.
Muralidhara of Lanco Foundation welcomed the guests and the gathering. Sudhir M.K. compeered the program. In the camp 28 physically challenged persons from Mudarangadi, Shirva, Kuthyaru, Pilar, Ellur and other villages participated and collected the accessories which are suitable for them.
