Sasikanth Senthil appointed as new Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru, 11 Oct 2017: Tamil Nadu native, 2009 batch IAS officer Sasikanth Senthil S has been appointed as new deputy commissioner (DC) of Dakshina Kannada district according to a transfer order from Karnataka state government on October 10.

Outgoing DC, Dr KG Jagadeesh has been transferred as Director at Karnataka State Mine and Geology Department to replace Sasikanth Senthil. Dr KG Jagadeesh was appointed as Dakshina Kannada DC on October 1, 2016.

 

Sasikanth Senthil is an engineering graduate and has served at various parts of Karnataka including Raichur where he served as DC. Sasikanth was appointed as director at mines and geology department on November 13, last year.
