Mangaluru: State level Psychiatry Quiz at KSHEMA on Apr 11

Mangaluru, 09 Apr 2015: Indian Psychiatry Society - Karnataka Chapter (IPS-KC) in association with the department of Psychiatry, K S Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA) here will be organizing state level Psychiatry Quiz for undergraduate medical students at KSHEMA, a Unit of NITTE University, Deralakatte here on Saturday April 11.
 
Over 70 teams from medical colleges from all over Karnataka are expected to participate in state level Psychiatric Quiz.  First three winning teams will be awarded cash prizes of Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 along with certificates of merit. The certificate of participation will be given to all participants. The top 2 teams will represent Karnataka at the Zonal level Quiz to be held during the IPS South Zone Annual Conference IPSOCON-2015 during September or October 2015. Top 2 teams from the each zone will participate in the National Level Quiz which will be held in the second week of January-2016 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
 
KSHEMA dean Dr Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Nitte University vice-chancellor Dr Ramananda Shetty and Indian Psychiatric Society-Karnataka Chapter president psychiatry Professor Dr Harish Delanthabettu and Indian Psychiatric Society-Karnataka Chapter honorary secretary Dr Hemanth Kumar B G  will be the guests of honor.
