Mangaluru: Rang, Tulu movie box office hit completes 100 days in city

Mangaluru, 14 Nov 2014: Rang, Tulu movie produced under the banner Kateeleshwari Combine successfully completed 100 days. It has been screened at Prabhat Theater here to the packed hall. The movie was premiered here on August 8 will complete 100 days on Saturday November 15. The movie has been viewed by maximum number of people in a short time, while it’s screened in 12 theaters in undivided Dakshina Kannada district. The movie created a history with 39 shows in a single day.
Rang, Tulu movie now included amongst a few Tulu movies have completed 100 days including the movie ‘Yenna Tangady’ in the past. The black and white Tulu movie ‘Koti – Chennaya’ by Vishukumar, the movie ‘Bangar Patler’ by Richard Castelino and ‘Oriyaddori Asal’ by Vijaykumar Kodialbail. Rang, Tulu movie has been a box office hit with highest earning in 100 days after ‘Odiyaddori Asal.’
The success story began on the same day of releasing of audio CD of Rang. Its hit song, Premanate pass…athe…’ was likened by young and old alike, while the acting of bollywood comedy king Johny Level indeed created earnest interest among the movie-lovers.
Five songs of Rang, by lyricist Manikant Kadri are hit one after the other that has earned success. All these songs are played in events at colleges, weddings and other programmes. The hit songs mixed with lyrics meant for sensational dancing.
Sukhpal Polali is the executive producer and Devdas Kumar Pandeshwar is the producer of Rang, Tulu movie presented by Prameela Dev. The training of budding actors including hero and heroines also contributed for the success of Rang.
The professional choreography, effective script by Bhaskar Nelliteerta and Shashiraj Kavoor including are the factors determined the success of Rang. The dialogues by directors Suhan Prasad and Vismay Vinayak are also plus point in this regard.
Arjun Kapikad is the hero of Rang, while comedy actors Devdas Kapikad, Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Satish Bandale, Ashok Shetty Amblamogaru and Vismaya Nayak enlivened comedy for the delight of movie-lovers. The renowned actor Gopinat Bhat shines in villain’s role, along with co-actors Satnosh Shetty, Chandrahas Ullal, Sudhakar Salian, senor actors Rohini Jagaram and Srinivas Puttila.
