Mumbai: Does Literature need yardstick to foul cry - Ravi Ra Anchan

Mumbai, 5 Aug 2014: The literary forms are a powerful medium of expressing human emotions. It’s always different from each other and distinct. It depicts the experiences of forbearers. The uniqueness gets admirers and critics as well which the litterateurs and theater artistes got to be aware of, said renowned litterateur and poet Ravi Ra Anchan.
Ravi Anchan was delivering presidential address during House to house literary response programme that was organized by Dr G D Joshi Foundation, at Ravi Naik’s residence, here on Tuesday August 5.
Ravi Anchan admired the scenic backdrop of residence of Ravi and Padmavati Naik couple at Raheja Colony located at nearby National Park, Borivali (East), exclaimed that he wished to spend at least a few hour just in the company of nature. He congratulated Naik couple for their beautiful home.
Ravi Anchan shed light on the lives of Swami Vivekanand, Abraham Lincoln, Mahatma Gandhi, Ambedkar, Lohia, Kuvempu, Karant, Bendre and their literary contributions on the occasion.
The poetries of Hemanand Sadanand Amin, Vani Shetty, Petri Vishwanat Shetty, Leela Ganesh Poojary, Ashok Acharya, Harish Poojary, G V Kanchugar, Shobha Devi and others during the programme.
The litterateur and organizer Dr Karunakar Shetty, G T Acharya, H S Adoor, Ramanat Sarang, Uday Kodi, A Prabhakar Shetty and others were present on the occasion.
The enthusiasm of Rekha Karvi, Bhuvaneshwari Naik and Vishal Naik was exemplary throughout the programme.
It’s significant that they donated G V Kanchugar authored short story book to the gathering, out of their love for Kannada literature.
The litterateur Chandrashekar Rao briefed on the beginning of House to house literary response programme 15 years ago at his house located at Bhandup which is still pursued.
