DKMUL creates record by pooling 4.75 lac liters of milk/day

Mangaluru, 23 Jul 2017: The meeting of office bearers of Bantwal taluk milk producers’ co-operative societies was held at Mangaluru Dairy, here, recently.

 

Dakshina Kannada Milk Producers Union Limited (DKMUL) president K Raviraj Hegde presided the meeting and felicitated the milk producers for pooling 4.57 lac liters of milk per day and deliver to DKMUL.

 

 

The dairy-farmers’ welfare Trust distributed scholarship to dairy farmers children who scored higher marks in SSLC/PUC and bagged laurels in state level sports meet.

 

The dairy farmers who supply milk to Vogga milk producers co-operative society and Rayee milk producers co-operative society were honored for supplying more liters of milk in Bantwal taluk.

 

DKMUL director Dr K M Krishna Bhat welcomed the gathering. Sucharita Shetty proposed vote of thanks. DKMUL managing director Dr B V Satyanarayan, director Veena Rai were present.
