Moodubelle: Edmer Mahila Mandali holds felicitation program

Edmeru, 02 October 2011: Jyothi Mahila Mandali Edmer organized an felicitation program on Saturday 01st October 2011 in the morning at 11.00 am on the occasion of completing 16 year since its establishment. The dignitaries felicitated were; Ida Gibba D’Souza - Jilla Panchayath Member, Valerian Noronha, Shivaram Salyan - Belle Panchayath Member, Kumari Sumangala who served as Secretary of Jyothi Mahila Mandalada for 5 years, Jecintha Aranha - Belle Panchayath President and also the Founder President of Jyhothi Mahila Mandali.
 

 
The program began with the introductory speech by Jecintha Aranha. Padma – President of Jyothi Mahila Mandalada presided over the program. Ida Gibba D’Souza in her speech said that, the associations and clubs serve for few years and then they get vanished. But this association, ‘Jyothi Mahila Mandalada’ has been serving for 16 years now and has earned a good name for itself in the society and has grown into a strong association among all other associations. She congratulated the office bearers and all the members for their active contribution towards the progress.
 
Sujatha Suvarna – Secretary of Jyothi Mahila Mandali, welcomed the guests and the gathering. Shilpa Nayak – Member compeered the program. Julie Aranha – Member proposed vote of thanks.
