Belman, 22 August 2011: Supporting the movement of Anna Hazare on implementation of Lokpal Bill and elimination of corruption, the public in Belman on Saturday morning closed the shops in town and with a huge protest rally in the bus station burned a replica of Python of corruption thus protesting the policy of the central government.
In this protest Belman Nagarika Samiti, Lions Club, Lioness Club, JCI, Belman Grama Panchayath, Peoples Representatives, College – School Students, Teachers, Traders Association, Owners / Drivers of Bus-Rickshaw-Vehicles, Bus Agent Unions were all collectively participated.
