Shirva: Vanamahotsava held at Mattar School

Mattar, Shirva, 11 August 2011: Vanamahotsava was held at U.B.M.C. Private Aided Higher Primary School, Mattar, Shirva  on Thursday 11th August 2011 noon. The ceremony was symbolically inaugurated by planting the saplings. Various kind of fruit bearing plants were planted. The Vanamahotsava was conducted at the School by Lions Club Udupi.

 

 
Dignitaries present on the occasion were Ravindra G. Acharya – President of Lions Club Udupi, R. P. Monis – Lions District Chairman and K. C. Amin – Former President of Lions Club Udupi. Also,  the Headmaster, Teachers and the students of U.B.M.C Private Aided Higher Primary School, Mattar, Shirva were present.
