Udupi: Knowledge of Geetha superior than bath in Ganga

Udupi, 11 August 2011: Taking bath in Ganga will clean the dirt of the body. But the knowledge of Geetha will wash the dirt of ignorance and enables the knowledge to flow and the life becomes sacred. Knowledge of Geetha is superior than bathing in Ganga, said Shree Sansthana Gowda Padacharya Kaivalya Mutt Yati Shreemad Shivananda Saraswathi Swami Maharaj.

 

 

 
He participated and gave asheervachana in the religious program “Chaturmasya Vratha” at Brahmavara Shree Lakshmivenkataramana Temple on the occasion of “Geethamrathadhare” program during which 18 hours of Bagavathgeetha pravachana was conducted by Bhavanabaskara Prabhu from Mumbai.
 
In the history of Kaivalya Mutt every year in Shravana month every Monday special decoration and Pooja will be conducted to Lord Shree Bhavani Shankara, which ends in a grand celebration and every day Pooja, Bajane, religious and cultural programs are being held.
