Shirva: Free Eye Testing camp held

Shirva, 31 July 2011: Free eye testing camp was held in Samudaya Arogya Kendra, Shirva, recently from morning 9.00 am to 1.00 pm. The camp was jointly organized by Jilla Arogya & Kutumba Kalyana Department, Andatwa Nivarana Vibhaga Udupi, Netrajyothi Charitable Trust (Regd) Udupi, Prasad Netralaya Udupi, Rotari Club Shirva, Sri Kshetra Darmastala Gramabivridi Yojane Kapu Valaya and Samudaya Arogya Kendra Shirva.

 

 

The camp was inaugurated by Ida Gibba D’Souza - Jilla Panchayath Member. Guests and dignitaries present in the inaugural function were; Vanitha Shenoy – President of Shirva Grama Panchayath, Ronald Sequiera – President of Shirva Rotary Club, Dr. Krishna Prasad, K. R. Patkar – Rotary Zonal Deputy Governor and Prashanth – Incharge of Kaup Zone. The program was compeered by Nagayya Herematt.

 

In this free eye testing camp total 64 persons got their eyes tested. The free eye testing camp will be again organized on 09th November 2011 at Shirva Samudaya Arogya Kendra. Organizers have called upon the public to make use of this camp to have their eyes tested.
